Fureru I

Fureru is an attempt to explore a form of musical expression that emerges through the intentional sharing of heartbeat sounds—sounds that are usually unconscious and difficult to control voluntarily.To facilitate this, a fabric speaker was created as an instrument. This sound device inputs heartbeat sounds, converted into electrical signals, into DC motors, which generate vibrations that move the fabric.The heartbeat is translated into auditory, visual, and tactile sensations through the movement of the fabric. At the same time, the stage space itself becomes a device that entrusts the audience with how they engage with the experience. In this performance, the heartbeat sounds of two individuals were layered in real time onto a cassette tape and simultaneously played back through the fabric speaker. Through the repeated playback of these two heartbeats via the speaker, subtle differences and temporal changes become observable.

『ふれる』は、心臓音という、ふだん無意識でありながら意図的なコントロールが困難な音を、あえて他者と共有することで生まれる音楽的表現を探求する試みである。
そのための楽器として、布スピーカーを制作した。これは、電気的な音信号に変換された心臓音をDCモーターに入力することで生じる振動によって布を揺らす音響装置である。心臓音は、布の揺れとして聴覚・視覚・触覚に翻訳されると同時に、舞台空間そのものが観客に鑑賞方法を委ねる装置となる。 本パフォーマンスでは、カセットテープに、2人の心臓音をその場で多重録音し、布スピーカーを通じてリアルタイムで再生した。2人の心臓音が布スピーカーを介して反復的に再生されることで、そのわずかな差異や時間による変化を観察することが可能となる。
