Focusing on how Amazon is treating and sharing personal information with other companies, I designed a poster series and an animation. Since I used services of Amazon JP and Amazon DE, I requested the personal information from both companies and compared them. I found out that they are holding different information based on my behavior in each country, so I tried to combine them in one poster, emphasizing how complicated it is to reach out this fact. In the printed poster, I put black duct tape instead of printing a black striped pattern.

アマゾンは顧客の個人情報を第三者の広告主にも共有している。これらは私が日本で２年半、ドイツで４ヶ月、サービスを利用している間に情報提供がされた企業の一覧である。両国では共有先の企業が異なり、実際に自分が購入した製品のメーカー、金融・教育大手企業、国籍不明な事業主など様々な業種にわたる（日本62件、ドイツ92件）。利用規約には「amazonサービスには、第三者を広告主とする広告や他のウェブサイト及びアプリへのリンクが含まれることがあります。第三者広告主のコンテンツ、広告及びサービスを閲覧等された場合、第三者広告主はその方の情報を取得することがあります。」と明記されている。請求した情報には、ユーザーの個人情報、住所、クレジットカード番号、秒単位で記録されたサイトの閲覧履歴も記されていた。これらがどのようにパーソナライズド広告に用いられ、第三者企業と共有されているのかは不明である。"
